Search Tips
Our new search will allow users to more quickly and efficiently find the responsive content they're looking for.
The search allows for the use of Boolean operators, but these must be in all caps: AND, OR, and NOT. The default without explicit Boolean operators is an implied OR to search for all terms independently.
For example, searching for Hezbollah lebanon government returns 89 results, while hezbollah AND lebanon AND government returns just 7 results.
You may also use quotation marks to restrict your search to a phrase rather than searching for individual words.
The facets in the left-hand column allow you to further refine your search results based on criteria such as topic, geography, content type, etc. As you select a facet to refine your search, it will appear in the "You searched for" box at the top of the page; to remove a facet from your search, just click on the "X" next to it.
