The Centre for the Study of Democracy (CSD) is the postgraduate and postdoctoral research center in Politics and International Relations at the University of Westminster. CSD offers a one-year, full-time M.A. in International Relations and Political Theory, an M.Phil. and a Ph.D. Rising domestic and international academic and media interest in the work of CSD has ensured its reputation as a center of original and excellent research unlike any other in Britain. CSD’s achievements were recognized in the recent national HEFCE Research Assessment Exercise (1996) with a 3A Research Rating placing CSD at the joint top of the New University Ratings in Politics and International Relations.
