Creating an individual account

If your institution currently subscribes to Columbia International Affairs Online, you can set up your preferred user name and password from any computer physically located at your institution. View our list of current subscribers to see if your institution is among them. If your institution does not currently subscribe, review our site by completing our trial registration form. We appreciate your interest in our site and letting your librarian know about CIAO. If you have any questions, please e-mail us at columbiaonline@columbia.edu.

Logging in with an existing account

Once you have created your individual username and password, you will be able to access all of CIAO's resources from any remote location. You will be prompted for your credentials once you access secured materials, such as individual working papers or our atlas.
